We will be home for Christmas!

We will be in by Christmas Eve if the weather allows that is!! Hope to see you all give me a call if you want to get together. We will be at mom and dads house so you can reach us there if you don't have my cell. We are not sure how we will react to the change from the 70s for the last week to this near 0 stuff you Kansans live it. That is just crazy!!!

Story time

Okay so craziness has arrived!! On top of a crazy busy week of running back and forth to Mississippi this week for work, I was in a car accident. So here is the story............

I had just gotten back in town from Mississippi and I was heading to pick Bailey up from daycare. I was driving down Cottage Hill Ave. which is a 5 lane road. As I approached an intersection in the right lane, my lane was clear and the left lane was backed up. Unknown to me someone was in the middle turn lane facing the opposite way waiting to turn into CVS on my side of the road. So the wonderful woman in a big SUV waved the man through to turn. WITHOUT realizing I was coming up in the lane next to her I guess!! So he can't see over the SUV so he turns, and guns it! Yeah not smart. I see him come out in my lane but too late, I slam on the breaks and we hit. Not fun. I was doing about 30 and he had gunned. Both of my air bags went off and my front was pretty messed up. His car managed to spin onto the curb and into the parking lot.

So I sat there in shock for a bit. My car never left the road. I have a burn on my wrist and hand, from the air bag. Did you know air bags smoke a lot when they go off? Yeah they do and it was odd. Other than the burn it was the normal soreness and back/neck ache. Still waiting on that to go away. So after the fun of dealing with the insurance company, my car is totaled. Grrrr, I was actually paying it off this week too. So much for that! So the pittiful check that the insurace company is giving me for my car today won't get me much. And I was trying to not have a car payment next year.









So what car do I buy?? Any ideas?? Marry Chirstmas to me I get a new vechicle, grr so much for splurging this year at Christmas.

But hey everyone is okay, no kids were involoved, I have some money set aside to help, and I am not in school anymore so I have a real job and income. God sure does take care of us.

Any ideas on what I should buy??? I need something cheap and quick!! I don't handle being a single mom with no car very well!!

Halloween

So I forgot about yesterdays pictures. So I am double blogging backwards in time, how about that! :) I took Bailey to crash her School party. (she doesn't go to school of Fridays, but that is when the party was so we crashed it and I skipped work! ) They gorged themselves on sweets, then ran around like crazy kids. All the boys were super heros, batman, superman or spiderman. The girls were a bit more creative! Bailey had fun!

Forgive the poor quality photos today. They are off of my cell phone again. We decided to run around the park today for about 4 hours. So we wondered over to the art museum to check out the new art outside. Here are a few of Bailey's favs.

Check us out we are doing things! Really you should be proud. Work is going well, it is great to have Jeremy down here! Bailey is attempting to stop bitting her nails, it is slowly getting better. And the thumb sucking at night is going away, hopefully it will all end soon! So as for the events of late. Bailey had a fall festival at her school last Friday night. She loved it! We also spent part of Saturday carving our pumpkin family! Check it out we are too cool! Hope all is well up north!

Are ya scared yet? She loved the bounce house, especially when she had it all to herself. I will try to add a video later of her bouncing.

The Fair

Well we have had a busy day. It feels great to sit down and rest. We spent almost 4 hours at the fair today. I was a great day, perfect temp and Bailey had fun. Here are a few pics of the Fair.

We did something fun! Yes really we did, okay well maybe fun by kid standards. The Circus was in town and we actually went. Aren't you all proud of me! This was Bailey's first time at the circus and she loved it. But she thought she need to do and buy everything!!!! ya momma didn't go for that! So here are some pics.....
